God made animals sensitive to the environment, and also organs to react the moment they sense these stimulus from the surroundings, God even gave them a brain, so animals could learn from pass experiences!
The point now is, man was made the smartest animal of them all. I just don’t fathom why some humans just don’t sense what’s going around them - is it their brain or just the act of being ’retard’? even blachis have this sensitivity feature working! For those who’re slower, check out this and this for the meaning of blachi.
Back to the surrounding sensitivity part. Humans are smart creatures, and beside responding to physical stimulus from the surroundings, human should be capable of sensing the opinions of people around you. I’ve been wondering why some human just lack that (sensing people’s opinions of you)!
(Just something to share bout.. )
Doing daily reflection is really isn’t something pleasant. I don’t exactly set aside time for these ‘reflections’, but just spend freetime (while travelling?) thinking of some decisions I’ve made, things I did and whatever that just flashes in my head then…..
try recalling events which happened few hours back, did you regret doing anything? Well, that’s life! harsh - only a chance to do anyone thing, and there isn’t this “NG” option which allows you to act in a wiser manner or whatever you wanted to change or improve. Thinking of this, the movie, ‘The Butterfly Effect’, just came to mind. This guy tried to change his past, so as to give others a better future…… and [no spoilers]
back to regrets. I really wonder how many in the world could actually, RIP - die without regrets? While I tried to live on a day to day basis (this is my last day), life turns out meaningless - no aims, no purpose. You just don’t seem to care about anything around you, it’s just like being autistic… living in your own world.
I do remember my friend mentioned what are the pros of being mentally challenged.
The first example he gave was, if you were to commit an offence, the law would unlikely charge you or can it even convict you of whatever you’ve done.
The second, you aren’t so concern with what the world sees you as, materialism naturally goes out of the list. I can’t remember the third one. So if you’re one who is suicidal, I would recommend first try to get mental. I would think the impact on your family wouldn’t be as great as compared to losing someone (death).
regrets and worldly posession differ just that bit. many live for them, but many die grateful to leave regrets behind.
